iPhone X may have production closed due to low demand, says analyst

Ming-Chi Kuo, the analyst at KGI Securities and known for analyzing Apple's actions in the market, recently released an interesting new statement. According to him, the company will stop production of the iPhone X until the first quarter, and the reason is clear: the device is in a low demand.

Apple expects to sell up to 18 million smartphones by the end of the first quarter of 2018 - down from the 30 million analysts forecast for the period.

But the company will not be without bringing news to compensate the market. Kuo complements that, from the coming weeks, Apple will focus on the production of three new models of iPhones, including variations of the iPhone X with a screen of 5.8 inches and another Plus with a display of 6.5.
