Eve Online users donated 100 thousand dollars in memory of the game developer

In mid-December last year, the creators of the popular multiplayer space game Eve Online launched a campaign to raise funds in memory of the deceased developer. The action was held from December 12 to 19, but even in such a short period, the CCP Games studio collected an impressive amount of money. Not without the participation of fans of this online game.

November 14 last year, one of the employees of CCP Games, known under the nickname CCP Blaze, died while on vacation in London, where he went in honor of the engagement. The developer was only 35 years old. For everyone in the studio, it was a big shock. To perpetuate the memory of a friend and colleague, they released a special set of skins. All the money earned on his sale was transferred to the bride of a man and his little daughter, who turned one year old.

For a week, developers received from the sale of skins 3.7 million PLEX, which is equivalent to $ 119,828. CCP Games employees were amazed by the response of the gaming community.
