ReplyDeleteGreat post sir.
ReplyDeleteThis twrp is for which rom version?
ReplyDeleteI have the latest v63 android 7.0
it will work for it
ReplyDeleteSo I did everything and it went well, only that when in recovery, I can't boot into system because it says no OS installed. If I want to preserve twrp and flash the stock rom, how do I go about it?
ReplyDeleteyou can flash stock recovery via SP flash tool to remove the custom recovery
ReplyDeleteTake note This custom recovery is working fine
I don’t want to remove the custom recovery, in sp flashtool do I untick recovery then flash the others with bootloader included? Or do I flash the stock rom as is. I had to unlock the bootloader after updating to nougat, flashing the stock will lock it again?
ReplyDeleteThis is what I was thinking,
ReplyDeleteI use sp flash tool to flash the stock rom, then I use adb to unlock the bootloader again if it’ll be relocked again, I flash the recovery using adb after.
I just don’t get why I followed this step by step only for the OS to be wiped once I was in recovery
Try flashing the custom Recovery via Sp Flash tool not ADB command let see the difference
ReplyDeleteI did, I actually tried both, sp and adb, after flashing back stock rom. Only now, both methods say they're successful but everytime I boot into recovery, the stock one is restored.
ReplyDeleteWith adb, it flashed then I booted with the command, boot into recovery, it's stock.
With sp, flashes well but then when I power into recovery, it's still stock
Try this method put the custom recovery in the stock Rom and flash together
ReplyDeletei have latest X557-H807AD-N-171110V163
ReplyDeletethis twrp work on it?
