Samsung launches limited edition Star Wars robot vacuum cleaner POWERbot

The new limited edition of the VR7000 integrates the innovative technology of the Samsung POWERbot vacuum cleaner robot, brings with it new features and an image specially created for Star Wars fans around the world. Vacuum cleaners are not, as a rule, a topic addressed here but we can not resist these two.

Samsung Electronics today introduced the new Star Wars limited edition of its POWERbot vacuum cleaner, the   VR7000. Let's know these two versions of the robot? You can also see your video presentation at the end of the article.

The quirky but powerful vacuum cleaner, which features a design with the iconic Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, results from a collaboration between Samsung and Star Wars fans and was specially created to captivate fans of this saga of Disney and Lucas Films, anticipating the debut of the latest movie "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

The POWERbot ™ version with Darth Vader features a specially crafted cover from premium materials similar to the Darth Vader's black mask. The version with the Stormtrooper mirrors the image of a white and black Stormtroopers helmet.

The model with Darth Vader supports Wi-Fi connectivity and has a remote control. Both models also offer unique and fun sound effects associated with each of the characters. For example, when the unit with the Darth Vader is turned on the robot will play a sound that emits the famous breath of this character.

To create an authentic and true special edition product in the eyes of Star Wars fans, Samsung worked directly with the super fans of these films at every stage, from product planning to design, production, marketing, and distribution. It was an innovative approach to building and launching a product designed by fans and created for fans.

"From its suction power, slim design and clever features to the wonderful voice feedback and sound effects associated with each character, we are confident that the VR7000's limited edition Star Wars will be a great success."

"We are delighted to be a part of the entire environment prior to the debut of the Last Jedi, and for launching our limited edition of POWERbot in partnership with Star Wars fans," said BS Suh, executive vice president of Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics.

The VR7000's limited edition Star Wars promises to offer all of the original VR7000's cleaning technology and features, such as the 10-watt suction capacity and CycloneForce and Edge Clean Master technologies that help the cleaner clean better with the walls and in the corners.

The big question will be which version to choose. Vader or Tropper? There is no doubt that they are very captivating and the advertising video makes them even more appealing.

It can even function autonomously, using Visionary Mapping Plus that stores the space to be cleaned and identifies the fastest cleaning routes throughout the user's home.

FullView Sensor 2.0 allows cleaning to be guaranteed around decorations and valuable personal items, even the smallest 10mm. Thanks to its smart, unique features and powerful performance, the VR7000 was awarded the 2017 CES Innovation Award.

POWERbot's Star Wars limited edition pre-orders began on October 10 on Samsung.com in the United States. Following this release, the brand already presented its video " Vacuum Your Space ", which was created by super fans of Star Wars.

And which of these two would you choose for your home?
