Yale University will hold a symphony concert using smartphones

Usually, the phone at a classical concert acts on everyone, like a red rag on a bull. But only if we are not talking about a new type of performance with the participation of the orchestra of Yale University, which will be held on October 6. Participants, on the contrary, will ask viewers to leave their mobile devices turned on: smartphones with Internet access will be able to participate in the concert together with musicians.

During the presentation with the help of SynkroTakt technology, 32 audio tracks will be synchronized between your phone and the orchestra's performance with the highest accuracy and without delays. Thus, at the right time, one of the phones (or even several at once) will play the necessary part together or simultaneously with the musicians, creating the necessary melody. In fact, it's like adding an orchestra to a hundred or two speakers (SynkroTakt supports up to 250 devices).

This idea is entrusted with great hopes and one concert will not stop there. In addition, possible applications of the technology include TV shows and art installations, where such a dramatic injection will be just the way. The concert on October 6 can be considered a presentation of SynkroTakt to the general public. Let's hope that the guys will succeed and the popularization will not take long
