Xiaomi Mi A1, the Android One phone is now official

Xiaomi Mi A1 is now official. As we all know this is the  Xiaomi device that offers Stock Android experience out of the box, do you like it? Xiaomi manufactured Mi A1 and it powered by Google under the Android One program.

Xiaomi Mi A1 Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is a 5.5-inch 1080p display device with Gorilla Glass 3, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset powers it alongside 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage which is expandable via microSD card. On the back of Mi A1 lies the dual camera setup of the 12MP telephoto lens with the 2x optical lens and one 12MP wide angle lens. Xiaomi claims that Mi A1’s dual camera setup can shoot photos on par with the iPhone 7 Plus that is sure a good thing.

Design

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is essentially Mi 5X running stock Android OS. Xiaomin takes Mi A1 design inspiration from a king device OnePlus 5 in many aspects, the placement of the rear cameras and it builds. The dual camera setup in the rear has a slight bump with the fingerprint scanner sitting below the camera. This device has a thin profile with dimensions of 155.4 by 75.8 x 7.3mm and a weight of 165gms. Mi A1 is made of metal, with the display taking up the front of the device with Xiaomi’s three signature navigation buttons in the front.

The device is light on by a 3080mAh non-removable battery with  USB type-C port which supports fast charging. The device retains the 3.5mm jack. It features a dedicated sound amplifier for that extra boost in sound quality.
