On iPhone 8, you can create animated emoji using your own facial expressions

In the merged firmware iOS 11 Golden Master was information that on the iPhone 8 there would be a new function "Animoji". It will allow users to create animated emoji using 3D-sensors and share them with friends.

Apple describes Animoji as "customizable animated messages with your voice and facial expression."

Judging by the images found in the firmware, users can create an Animoji robot, unicorn, pig, panda, monkey, fox, dog, etc.

 

Users will be able to create Animoji in the Messaging application. Most likely, they will be limited to the iMessage platform, and hardly they can be used in other applications. This emoji feature will be exclusive to the iPhone 8, as only it will have 3D sensors on the front.
