The Galaxy Note 8, Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, has been subjected to many rumors and numerous leaks, of which the most recent was the device allegedly launching on 23rd August. From the official confirmation, we got Samsung is indeed preparing to launch Galaxy Note 8 in the month of August.
DJ Koh Samsung’s mobile chief in Taiwan reportedly told media that the Galaxy Note 8 would arrive at the end of August, but stopped short of revealing the exact date. It was also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would be on sale starting from September through October in a phased roll-out. We should all expect the device to go on sale first in the US and then South Korea before its global rollout.
We already know that Samsung has an Unpacked event scheduled in New York next month, which is when this device is expected to be unveiled. For the uninitiated, the successor to the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 will be the first dual-camera toting smartphone from the South Korean brand. The device will feature the same bezel-less, Infinity display as was seen on the Galaxy S8 duo but is speculated to sport a larger screen of 6.4-inches. The rest specifications will remain the same as the Galaxy S8 Duo, with the phone sporting either an Exynos 8895 SoC or Snapdragon 835, depending on the market.
