Moto Z2 Force Features Dual 12MP cameras and Snapdragon 835 SoC

“The Moto Z2 Force is expected to be unveiled on July 25th with a shatterproof display.”

Lenovo recently sent out media invites for its #hellomotoworld event in New York on July 25th, where it is expected to launch the Moto Z2 Force. Ahead of the unveiling, favourite tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks recently shared a press render of the phone. Today, Blass has reported the key specifications of the device on VentureBeat.

According to the report, the Moto Z2 Force will arrive with a 5.5-inch shatterproof ShatterShield Super AMOLED POLED display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, mated to 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the region. The phone will come with a pair of 12-megapixel cameras at the rear. In the front, the device will get a 5-megapixel shooter, just like its predecessor.

The source notes that Lenovo has reduced the thickness of the already slim Moto Z2 Play, and has fitted the Moto Z2 Force with a smaller 2,730mAh battery. The phone doesn’t get any ingression rating, but it is said to be covered with a water-repellent nano-coating. We will have official details regarding the device next week, so stay tuned to 91mobiles for more updates.
