Samsung has launched the long-rumored Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) in Brazil. The devices are expected to be ready to purchase from the firm’s online store which will be available in some couple of weeks. They are device are priced at BRL 2,300 (2) and BRL 2,100 (8) in the region.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is a mid-to-high-end device, a 1.9GHz Exynos 7880 Octa CPU, a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Mali-T830MP3 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 16MP front- and rear-facing camera and a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. It’s also IP68 certified and ships with compatibility for Samsung Pay.
Both in terms of design and internals, the Galaxy A7 (2017) is almost identical to the Galaxy A5 (2017). It packs the same processor, GPU, RAM module, and camera unit. The only notable differences between it and its brethren are that it sports a larger 5.7-inch Full HD panel and a 3,600mAh battery, which push it into the affordable ‘phablet’ market.
