Redmi
This was revealed in a tweet from Xiaomi’s India head, Manu Kumar Jain. Xiaomi lifted the curtains off the Redmi Note 4 on Jan 19 at an official event in New Delhi. The phone budget-smartphone will go on sale on 23rd January at 12PM exclusively on Flipkart and mi.com/in priced at Rs 9,999.
Just to recall, Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5 inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood it packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz.
Storage wise it has three variants- 2GB/32GB, 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB and runs MIUI 8 on top of Android Marshmallow. A Xiaomi Nougat update is in plans for the device, BTW, but we guess you have a Android 7.1.1 based build available already thanks to Lineage OS custom ROM.
The Redmi Note 4 packs in 4100mAh battery. Camera wise, it has 13MP/5MP camera combo, and houses the fingerprint sensor at the rear which doubles as a selfie shutter.
The Redmi Note 4 could release soon in Indonesia too, while its upgraded variant dubbed as Redmi Note 4X is in the plans too.
