Finally, Tecno is out of the cage of no update for their smartphone after their first out from box marshmallow phone W4 last week they release this smooth fast sweet update for Tecno C8. Technology is faster growing new ways of updating device are popping up, in the old time one can only update device via OTA or flash via flash tool, new method is out we are using the fast and easy method the SD Card update Method the Infinix users know this method but it new to tecno users don't worry we will guide you.

You are advised to unrooted before proceeding with the update via SD Card

Steps on How to Flash the Android 6.0 Marshmallow On Your Tecno Camon C8
1. After downloading the file from the above link Place Tcard_update_20160415 in your SD Card (NOT INSIDE ANY FOLDER)
2. Switch off your Tecno Camon C8
3. Now Boot to Recovery Mode by holding Power Button + Volume Up until you see the start up logo then release the Power Button Only after which you’ll see the Android logo.
4. After you have gotten the Android logo Press just the Power Button to give the image below.
5. Use Volume Down to navigate to Apply update from sdcard then press the Power Button to select
7. You will enter a new interface as shown below.
Use the Volume Down to navigate to Tcard_update_20160415 then select it with the Power Button
8. The installation will begin and when it is done you will see the interface as seen below. Select Reboot system now.
The phone will reboot. This could take up to 5 minutes. once its completed, you'll have HiOS and Marshmallow 6.0 on your Tecno C8. Kudos to Tecno for this update
