Am so sorry for posting this article so late I believe many would solve their problem fast if this post were made early this post is for those with Windows 10 if you are using Win 7 check MTK VCOM USB Drivers for Win 7


Day in day out guys flash their Android phone which gets bricked due to one problem or the other Generally many users face the problem of VCom drivers not getting installed for their MediaTek device which will make your Sp flash not to respond well when you want to flash your Android, we require VCom drivers to be properly installed  when we want to flash firmware/Rom in our device with SP Flash Tools or any other similar tool. You will get the best and easy way to install the VCom drivers.

You Need To Disable Driver Signature Enforcement:

To disable Windows 10 64 bit driver signature enforcement:
- On your 64 bit Windows 10 desktop click on Start then on Settings
- Click on Update & security then in the left pane click on Recovery
- Under Advanced startup click on Restart now button
- Click on Troubleshoot then on Advanced options
- Click on Startup Settings then on Restart button
- The computer will restart with the Startup Settings screen
- To disable the driver signature enforcement until next restart press F7 on your keyboard wait a while for next screen then 7
- After restart, you can proceed with the unsigned MTK drivers installation for your 64 bit Windows
- After you install the unsigned drivers, to use them again in the future, you have to repeat this procedure

How Best To Install MTK VCOM USB Drivers-




 Step 1: - You need to Download MTK USB VCOM Drivers for your device model click the below link.


MTK6582 /MTK6592 /MTK6589 / MTK6577 or any other MTK65XX

Step 2: - Now open Device Manager on your PC by clicking the window button and typing the device manager

Step 3: - In Device Manager click on your PC name and then click on Add legacy hardware, as see below screenshot.

Step 4:- Now in Add Hardware Wizard click Next to continue as see below

Step 5: - Click the Install the Hardware that i manually select from a list (Advanced)

Step 6: - It will Show All Devices Click the Next button to continue.

Step 7: - Click the Have a Disk button now browse to the Vcom drivers you download to make sure you have extracted it out from the zip select the INF file according to your PC bits the first inf file is for the 32bit system while the second file is for 64bit then click open next click Ok.



Step 8: - Now click on Next on the wizard to install the drivers and when promoted for security issue just click on install any anyway to finish the driver installation.

Step 9: - It will install Drivers after that you will be asked to click finish and restore to make the drivers works

    i still can't install it, am getting this error
    ''the following hardware was not install
    an error occured during the installation of the device
    the third-party INF does not digital signature information''
    pls what can i do?

    it from your pc because i used this on my computer to install vcom driver it working fine reboot your pc and try again

    I am also getting the same error. There is no way pc is accepting the usb driver. In the step 8 You provided, windows is still saying that device cannot start. How windows will accept it?
    I do it till here and when I open SP Flash Tool and do the steps and connect my mobile in the off position, the SP Flash Tool progress bar does not mov even after waiting for half an hour
    (I am having Infinix X521)

    Do take note of that like all things, after some time your drivers can get to be ruined, because of the various changes going ahead in your PC as time passes by, changes that could conceivably influence the drivers for your gadgets and USB ports.
