If you have been using Touchpal keyboard for a while, you would notice that this feature am about to tell you is new to Touchpal. Every Android keyboard has one or two features that ties a user to the specific keyboard app that is rarely found in other keyboards available.
Personally, one feature I have always wanted on all my keyboard apps including Touchpal is the word expansion phrase. Yes, WORD EXPANSION PHRASE. Sounds new? I don't think you should wonder so much what it means, it's simply a shortcut to a bigger sentence, that is; instead of typing the whole word in this sentence "I love you" you simply type "lly" which is the shortcut and the keyboard does the rest. Don't be surprised, the keyboard cannot read your mind nor ascertain your intention when a shortcut is written. That is why there is an option for users to include their shortcut and then include the complete phrase.

To delete shortcut, swipe left or right through the specific shortcut. As at when posting this, there is no way to edit an already saved shortcut, but be most assured we will let you know if the feature surfaces on Touchpal.
Touchpal now supports cloud syncing of user words for free accounts, they have managed to include clipboard feature and shortcut feature in one space. #brilliant
