How to Unbrick TECNO M6

There are some many reasons that can cause your phone to brick  which are installing of font, wrong tweaking of phone, Software update and lot more  bricking also has two categories they include:
1 Soft Brick
2 Hard Brick
If you soft bricked your phone then you’re safe.
If you hard bricked your phone their are two things involved, is either you take it to the service center or buy a new phone.
So you just bricked your TECNO M6, and it can still boot to recovery then you are at the right place and you’re reading the right article.

This post is for those who have soft bricked their Tecno M6
HOW TO UN-BRICK YOUR TECNO M6
You will need the following
Your head (Brain)
CWM recovery installed on your phone before.
An SD card
And Stock ROM……
I hope you can still boot to recovery?
If yes…

Download the stock ROM for 
Copy to your SD card
Boot to your recovery and install the downloaded stock ROM like you reinstalling a custom ROM.

FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS


1. Boot to CWM Recovery Mood (Power Off your Phone and then Press Power Button + Volume Up Button until The Recovery)


2. Now Follow This steps for flashing Rom

  • Wipe data/factory Reset

  • Wipe cache Partition

  • Mount & Storage/ Format System

  • Advance/ Wipe Dalvik Cache

  • Now Go Back

  • Choose Zip From SDcard

  • Install Zip From SD Card

  • Now Select your Custom ROM which You want to Flash

  • Then Wait Untill the Installation Finished

  • Then Reboot Your Phone

  • Done


I  can’t boot to recovery.
This is a bad news that means you have to follow a advance tutorial with the help of SP FlashTool. But am yet to write the tutorial.

NOTE : THIS TUTORIAL WORKS FOR EVERY OTHER ANDROID DEVICES BUT YOU SHOULD NOT USE THE FILE UPLOADED HERE FOR ANY OTHER DEVICE EXCEPT INFINIX HOT.

    Excuse me,
    I am dangerously in need of Tecno M6's 4.4.2 KitKat Official MTK BackUP (including Tecno M6 preloader, seco, cache, userdata, MBR,.. etc.) to flash my phone. It is hard bricked, already. And, wouldn't boot to bootloader or recovery.

    But, it is incomplete MTK Backup for Tecno M6. Only if I can get the ful and complete Official or Customed MTK Backup for Tecno M6.
    Trust me, like yours, I have downloaded several Tecno M6 Stock ROM. They are the same as yours; non won't be capable to unbrick my hardbricken Tecno M6. Only if the Tecno M6 MTK Backup is a complete one.

    Hi. The mystic OS had issues, so i tried reverting back to the M6S stock ROM.
    I tried installing the stock ROM from the instructions, but it gets stuck on the boot animation logo. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    I believe it was clearly stated that you should back up your previous rom before flashing the custom rom on Mystic Os post you read it but didn't follow the instructions why?

    When wiping are you sure you formatted system if not format system and wiped other necessary stuff they rom should will boot up. if after the wipe the rom didn't work then you have to flash Stock Rom via Sp flash this Rom on this post is Tecno M6 not M6S

    I have a working backup for Mystic OS, but the sim card isn't recognizable in that ROM, plus i couldn't unlock the phone once it timed out, and lastly, the WiFi couldn't turn on.

    However, there was an error while i tried backing up the Stock ROM for TECNO M6S.

    I did download the ROM from this link: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_pGM0vqvsl6dXFaemwxUEx4eWc&export=download
    but it says "installation aborted" whenever i flash it from CWM.

    Would you kindly send me a working Stock ROM download link for TECNO M6S? Thanks in advance Emmanuel

    Can you tell me the errors you get when you are trying to restore your backup
    That Rom you downloaded is for Sp flash tool not a rom to flash with CWM recovery

    The error i got while backing up was: "MD5 mismatch error"

    The good news is, i used SP flash tool to unbrick the M6S using the scatter.txt in the download link i sent earlier. I then selected firmware upgrade instead of download only in the SP flash tool because i received this error: "PMT changed for the rom; it must be downloaded"
