HOW TO FLASH  ROM


1) You have to have a Rooted Phone and CWM Installed.



3) Boot to CWM Recovery Mood (Power Off your Phone and then Press Power Button + Volume Up Button untill The Recovery)
4) You Can Backup your Stock Rom ( CWM Backup & Restore & Backup )

5) Now Follow This steps for flashing Rom

  • Wipe data/factory Reset

  • Wipe cache Partition

  • Mount & Storage/ Format System

  • Advance/ Wipe Dalvik Cache

  • Now Go Back

  • Install Zip From SDcard

  • Choose Zip From SD Card

  • Now Select your Custom ROM which You want to Flash

  • Then Wait Untill the Installation Finished

  • Then Reboot Your Phone

  • Done

    Mr.Akor i just observed a bug. The home key notification light continues to pulse after notifications are cleared. Have to reboot to clear to get it turned off

    You might notice that the phone won't connect on plugging USB to PC. Go to about phone and click on about firmware, tap build number repeatedly for 9times to enable developers option and then go to the dev options under settings > dev options and toggle the dev options to enable it.... This is the most important part...... Check USB debugging and unchecke it, check it again... NB: all these should be done while the USB cord is plugged in the phone. Also note that u might have to repeat this process each time u wanna use USB transfer

    Please your are getting problem installing this ROM because you are no stock recovery install Custom recovery for p4 anyone you like choose but I recommend cwm for you after installing the custom recovery then try following the instruction to flash ROM

    To boot to recovery we have two method first you can use mobile uncle to boot to recovery when the phone is on. How to go about download from play store open it you will see boot to recovery and you can boot to recovery when the phone is off
    How to go about it press power button plus volume up all the same time until it boot to recovery.

    I have done all of that even factory settings yet no way.
    Wen I use ROM manager, it will boot and start up the Fone normally instead of booting to recovery.
    As for d hold up+power botton d fone will b booting only on smartfone repeatedly.

    Download Tecno H6 custom recovery
    How to install it
    1.phone must be rooted
    2.download mobile uncle from play store
    3. Copy the downloaded to root of SD not inin any folder
    4. Open mobile find click recovery update select recovery and install

    Note: rename the tecno h6 cwm to just recovery before you install

    Awat your feedback on the h6 recovery

    Please take note use mobile uncle to backup your imei before flashing the Rom after flashing if you get the service bug just restore the imei you backup with mobile uncle to solve that.

    Hey, i Have a problem,
    after installing the lexer rom everything was working well on my tecno h6,
    i plugged in the phone on my pc, on my computer i could see the memory card but the phone memory was unreadable, it was asking to format it.
    After format it to FAT32, i restart the phone and it was bricked,
    it always showing the boot logo "Experience SmartLife NOW".
    Can somebody help ?
    I thougt the problem was the formating to fat32 something wich should be extf4fs.
    When i try to backup to my old rom with CWM, i get this error "make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk05"

    bro did you back up your stock rom ?? if not then the only way to restore your imei is by having a working tecno h6 then back up the stock rom using mtkdroid and also back up the nvram , then go ahead and flash the stock rom using sp flash tool , once thats done you will still have a null imei , now go to mtkdroid , and restore nvram http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAK1DL_L_eg
    watch this video to fix the null imei , thats how i brought my phone back to life and its the only way you will fix it , you may try to flash secro.img file only using sp flash tool and see if it works but i haven't tried that .. you will get the secro.img file when you back up the stock rom using mtkdroid

    Please you be specific what happened before your phone got stuck at Tecno logo ...
    So we know how to get it fix for you.
    If you have custom recovery installed on your phone do factory reset to make the phone work normal if that don't work download a custom ROM and install to get phone working but if you dont have custom recovery install on it you will need mtk droid backup to solve your problem.

    My sim cards couldn't be Read, When i went to check on the base-band it showed me that Base-band is unknown, and also the IMEI wasn't there.. And actually the storage wasn't showing the full capacity, it was only showing 5.89 MB yet it was supposed to show like 5 GB something of that sort.. and i couldn't access the rest of that storage space.. Is their something i didn't do right ?..

    Just installed the rom.. Its great.only the blinking of the softkey that won't stop..av tried pressing the power button for 5seconds but it still blinks. How do I stop this?? And how to I change the system font in the display koz av tried to change the systekm font in the font chooser but nothing happens..the set and reboot don't work so it doesn't change the system font..how do I change it?? Otherwise its a very great rom and good work

    popkat Rom for Tecno H6is better but for me to recommend a Rom that will be hard because i use many Roms .... another great Rom i enjoy using is Lollifox Rom it awesome to me

    You can Flash a Flashable Stock ROM from SD yes if the phone can boot to recovery
    And No of they ROM is a Mtk backup stock ROM

    first get a imei backup usually like(imei.bak) and restore using mobile uncle..after then rebot Ur phone..

    i'm using lollifox on ..nice ROM but.its has some issues ...i cnt find accesibility settings doesnt work...sometimes apps dont install...nd some oda borderin issues...does lexer has all diz problem too?

    That is a sign that you didn't read the post well you are using stock recovery to install the Rom from the post step 1 said you must be rooted and have cwm recovery installed on your phone

    My Bluetooth was working after I flashed pop Kat rom on my h6. After about two months, it would not transfer anything. It comes on but all attempts to send/receive data fails. How do I fix this please?
